Resonant Flesh is a hex in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- A hex developed independently by the Outcast Felkin. Transforms a number of souls into HP over a period of time
- Something gained, something lost.
- Catalyst: Sacred Chime
Availability[]
Sold by Felkin the Outcast for 3,400 souls.
General information[]
When cast, Resonant Flesh boosts the player's maximum HP in exchange for up to 2,000 souls. Both the HP gained and the duration depend on the souls held by the caster at the time of casting: casting the spell with little to no souls results in a minute gain that lasts for 30 seconds; alternatively, casting it with 2,000 souls or more results in a gain of about 20% of the player's total HP, which also lasts for 170 seconds.
The high HP increase, long duration and relatively low requirements of Resonant Flesh makes it a very useful spell for all players, regardless of their vigor. Players with low HP can counteract this weakness with Resonant Flesh while players with high HP can use it to become considerably more durable than they were before.
The effects of the spell will stack multiplicatively with other items or equipment that boost the player's HP, such as the Life Ring variants.
Attunement milestones[]
Like all other spells, the amount of casts per slot increases upon reaching certain Attunement milestones:
Attunement Level | Amount of Casts |
---|---|
10 | 2 |
43 | 3 |
94 | 4 |
Notes[]
Resonant Flesh only increases the HP cap, and does not add to the player's current HP. This means that any healing should be done after casting Resonant Flesh to conserve healing items.
