For the Dark Souls III variant, see Prisoner's Chain.

The Ring of the Embedded is a ring in Dark Souls II: Crown of the Ivory King.

In-Game Description

Ring crafted from the chains of the Embedded.
Receive various benefits, but at the cost
of increased damage taken.
The chains of the Embedded have the power
to transform people into slaves of pleasure,
setting them on a path of ruin.
This ring augments that peculiar quality.

Frozen Eleum Loyce - From the Abandoned Dwelling bonfire, proceed as normal until there is a tree and a narrow alleyway between two buildings. Walk to the edge and then left to reach a corpse holding the ring.

This ring, in some regard, can be treated as another First, Second or Third Dragon Ring that can be stacked with them, depending upon how much the stats are increased. It can be seen as such as it increases Vigor, Endurance and Vitality, an effect very similar to that of which the Dragon Rings grant, which directly increases HP, stamina and equipment load.

  • Increases Vigor, Endurance and Vitality by an amount that is inversely proportional to how high each attribute currently is. This means that this ring gives a smaller bonus the more points you have invested in those attributes.
  • Increases damage taken, which appears to be a 10% damage penalty. However, critical attacks from other enemies are far more potent with this ring equipped.

  • The "ring" is actually a link of the chain used to restrain the Embedded.
