For the Dark Souls variant, see Ivory Talisman.

The Saint's Talisman is a talisman in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Medium for casting miracles of the Gods.
Ivory talismans are given only to women clerics, and faith greatly affects their effectiveness.
There is a certain frailty to this talisman, which undermines the steadfastness granted by its Skill.
Skill: Unfaltering Prayer
Temporarily increases poise while casting miracles, preventing enemy attacks from interrupting prayer. Works while equipped in either hand.

Availability[]

Found in the Undead Settlement. After obtaining the Grave Key and navigating the sewers below the settlement, it can be found on a corpse in the room just before the ladder leading up to Irina of Carim's cell, guarded by numerous Hound Rats.

Characteristics[]

The Saint's Talisman is a talisman that performs poorly at low levels of Faith, but which becomes a very strong catalyst with time.

Its Spell Buff increases very slowly below 25 Faith; however, beyond 25 Faith its scaling improves and Spell Buff improves slowly but steadily, and averts the usual fall-off at 45 Faith that other catalysts suffer from. It outstrips the Talisman shortly after this point to become the strongest talisman up until it reaches the 60 Faith soft-cap. At this point, the only catalyst stronger than it is Yorshka's Chime.

However, it also has only 30 poise health when using the Unfaltering Prayer skill, half that of most other talismans. This means that it is possible to be staggered out of casting even by small weapons such as straight swords, making the weapon art unreliable even with maximized casting speed.

Upgrades[]

Reinforced with standard Titanite.
