- For the Dark Souls II variant, see Witchtree Bellvine.
The Saint-tree Bellvine is a sacred chime in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Sacred chime for casting miracles of the Gods. A bellvine cut from a small saint-tree that has been meticulously tended to.
- Saint-tree bellvines are customary in the far north, and allow for faster casting than ordinary sacred chimes.
- Skill: Gentle Prayer
Recovers HP for a period of time, albeit extremely slowly. Works while equipped in either hand.
Availability
Found in the Cathedral of the Deep.
- From the Cleansing Chapel bonfire, go towards monument with Hollows praying, just outside, and drop down to a passage on the left. Follow the waterway with 3 Corpse Grubs andi the middle, off to the right, there is a tree with the chime beneath it.
Characteristics
The Saint-Tree Bellvine has only one selling point, and that is that it casts miracles at maxed out casting speed without the aid of the Sage Ring.
The downside to this quirk is that it likely has the lowest Spell Buff out of any other miracle-casting catalyst.
As such it reccomended to use only to cast defensive miracles and heals when playing solo. If players wish to play in co-operation as Phantoms, then the Sacred Chime of Filianore is the reccomended option.
Upgrades
Reinforced with Titanite.
Notes
- Has maxed out casting speed.
- Can be traded with Pickle Pee in exchange for the Help me! Carving (only once per playthrough).
Trivia
- It makes its return from Dark Souls 2 with the same effect of boosted casting speed, yet with a more appropriate name, its original name was Witchtree Bellvine.
