The Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring is a ring in Dark Souls.

In-Game Description

This ring was secretly worn by a certain surreptitious sorcerer at Vinheim Dragon School.
The ring is engraved with an everlasting dragon in silent slumber, and masks all sound emitting from its wearer.

Availability[]

  • Found in Sen's Fortress, on a corpse near a Serpent Soldier. Upon reaching the second set of rolling boulders, go up the stairs and jump down halfway onto a platform with a body and a Serpent Mage on it. From here one can drop down onto a landing where the Ring and the previously mentioned Serpent Soldier can be found.
  • Dropped from Griggs of Vinheim.

General information[]

The Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring masks the wearer's sound from enemies. This includes actions such as backstabbing or hitting weapons against a solid surface.

The Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring's effect is identical to that of the Hush sorcery.

This ring proves very useful when battling Hawkeye Gough, as he is blind and requires the player to hit him or make noise if the player avoids his first attacks.
