Smough's Armor is a chest armor piece in Dark Souls. It is part of Smough's Set.
In-Game Description
- Armor of Smough, the Executioner, protector of the cathedral at the forsaken city of Anor Londo. It offers extremely high defense and can be worn by humans, but not without great difficulty.
Availability
Sold by Domhnall of Zena for 7,000 souls after killing Smough second during the Dragonslayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough boss fight.
Characteristics
Smough's Armor has the highest physical defenses of every non-upgraded armor, very high Poise, Bleed and Poison resistance, and average Curse resistance. It's good against all kinds of elemental attacks, but is particularly stronger against Fire attacks. It's also best suited against Slash (damage type)Slash attacks and it's weakest defense is against Strike attacks. The bigger flaw of this armor, however, is that it cannot be upgraded, but its already high defenses overall makes up for it for the most part.
