Soul Appease is a miracle in Dark Souls II.

In-Game Description

One of the lost miracles preserved only in the Undead Crypt. Inflicts heavy damage on mindless Hollows, but has no effect on anything else.
The Undead Crypt is a place of rest for the living. Those afflicted by the curse can only pray to one day gain entrance.

General informationEdit

When cast, Soul Appease releases a yellow ring around the caster, dealing damage within a large area-of-effect. It can hit through walls and deals considerable damage, but only to specific enemies. However its area of effect is vaguely dome-shaped, meaning that while it is capable of hitting enemies above the caster, if an enemy is on an even slightly lower level than them it will miss them altogether.

Although situational, Soul Appease is an effective way of clearing mobs of enemies affected by it. However, the fickle nature of what the spell considers undead can make it difficult to tell when the spell can be used.
