Spin Sweep is a skill in Dark Souls III.

- Sweep foes in a large spinning motion, and utilize momentum to transition into an overhanded strong attack smash.
Description[]
Spins the weapon once and use the strong attack to forward into another spin sweep and an overhead smash. During the attack, the user temporarily gains poise. All halberds possessing this skill require 8 FP to perform and 14 FP for the extension (6 and 11 when Farron Ring is equipped). The Partizan is the exception, in which it requires 11 FP to perform the skill, and another 11 FP for the extension (9 and 9).
Usage[]
Single player[]
Effective against mobs of enemies due to its two horizontal swings. Take caution when attacking enemies that are hard to stagger.
Online gameplay[]
For halberds, performing the light attack, weapon art, then another light attack will result in a combo. However, the Partizan is unable to combo with the inputs above. Instead, one should use two light attacks, then use the weapon art in hopes of punishing the player's roll. The most useful effect for the skill is its ability to tank hits, given the user initially has high enough poise.
