Tranquil Walk of Peace is a miracle in Dark Souls.

In-Game Description

Outland miracle, foreign to the Way of White Slows all walking within effect area.

This miracle is normally used to flee, as it slows walking but does not affect attacks, but nevertheless defines peace perfectly.

Availability

It is found in The Catacombs, hidden in a passageway leading from the secret room containing the Darkmoon Seance Ring.

General information

Tranquil Walk of Peace slows the movement speed of nearby enemies by effectively increasing their encumberance to over 100%.

Overview

Tranquil Walk of Peace is a very powerful tool against enemies that rely on speed. Unfortunately, its very short duration means that the timing of the cast must be very specific. 

Notes

• The Stone Giants in the Darkroot Garden can use this spell and will do it often, making it dangerous to confront them if they cannot be killed quickly.
• Tranquil Walk of Peace used to increase enemy encumberance by 100%, making any enemy staggered. This was patched in patches 1.04/1.05 in an effort to balance the game.
