For the Dark Souls III variant, see Peasant Hollow.

Undead Peasants, also known as Hollow Peasants, are enemies in Dark Souls II.

LocationEdit

Found in Brightstone Cove Tseldora at the encampment.

DescriptionEdit

Undead Peasants are the former inhabitants of Tseldora, a town erected in a mountainous valley, now gone hollow. They can be seen wielding tools usually associated with rural activities, such as sickles, pickaxes and torches. Some of these weapons, however, come imbued with an energy which causes Curse buildup on attack.

StrategyEdit

Undead Peasants are usually found in groups, either accompanied by other peasants or by Parasite Spiders. The first peasant can be encountered near the Royal Army Campsite bonfire in Brightstone Cove, tending the remains of some unfortunate victims. Downhill from that place, a large group of peasants await with an ambush prepared for any unwary travelers who dare enter their village.

Peasants have the potential of killing the player if they manage to crowd on them; however, they usually aren't a big threat on their own. It is best to be cautious, as their attacks can appear misguiding (chasing attack) and stun-lock the player, which would give time to the rest of the crowd for some heavy and damaging hits.
