The Warrior's Round Shield is a small shield in Dark Souls.

In-Game Description

Round wooden shield crafted in Lordran. Decorated with the ancient Labrys axe.

The giant trees in Lordran are distant offspring of the great stone archtrees. This shield inherits their properties, and the wood reduces magic damage.

Availability

The Warrior's Round Shield can be purchased from the Undead Male Merchant in Undead Burg for 800 souls.

Characteristics

The Warrior's Round Shield shares the same characteristics as the Red & White Round Shield and the Caduceus Round Shield. It has good magic defense and is quite light, however because of its 85 physical defense, its impractical for any situation that does not call for magic defense. It has light deflection and a fast parry recovery. When upgraded to crystal the durability is 18.

Resistance Defense

Jump Attack	Slams shield into the ground.
Running Attack	Holds shield up and runs forward, then swings open at the end.*

Kick	Push away with the shield.

Notes

If fully upgraded on the Magic upgrade path, the Warrior's Round Shield has among the highest Magic defense in the game.
