The Watchdogs of Farron is a covenant in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

The Watchdogs ensure that the warriors sleep in serenity, by taking the form of loyal spirits and hunting down those who would trespass the woods of Farron.

How to join

Found within the swamp of Farron Keep, the player must find a ladder surrounded by Rotten Slugs. Head up the ladder to find a large non-hostile wolf lying near a bonfire. Speak with the wolf to join the covenant and offer Wolf's Blood Swordgrass to rank up and receive rewards.

Benefits

While the Watchdogs of Farron medallion is equipped, the player's heads-up display will continually be active. Once an online-embered player enters the Road of Sacrifices and/or Farron Keep, the host will be summoned through the covenant sigil into the world of the trespasser. While in the trespassers world, the player must defend the Farron Keep area by defeating the trespasser. After defeating the host, the player will return to his or her world with a Wolf's Blood Swordgrass.

Rewards

Offering the Old Wolf of Farron Wolf's Blood Swordgrasses will deepen the faith in the covenant and will subsequently grant rewards to the covenant member.

• Offering 10 Wolf's Blood Swordgrasses will have the player reach Rank 1 and be rewarded with the Old Wolf Curved Sword.
• Offering 30 Wolf's Blood Swordgrasses will have the player reach Rank 2 and be rewarded with the Wolf Ring and the Wolf Knight's Greatshield.
