- For the Dark Souls III covenant, see Way of Blue (Dark Souls III).
The Way of Blue is a PvP-oriented covenant in Dark Souls II.
How to join[]
Talk to Saulden, the Crestfallen Warrior, who is sitting at the base of a monument in Majula, three times, after which he will offer the player a place in the covenant.
Benefits[]
When invaded by a dark spirit, the members of the Way of Blue will receive help from a member of the Blue Sentinels, who will be automatically summoned as a blue Arbiter Spirit. When the invader has been defeated, the Blue Sentinel will return to their world.
Rank | Invaders Defeated | Rewards |
---|---|---|
+0 | - | Blue Seal |
+1 | 1 | Bloodbite Ring |
+2 | 5 | Hush |
+3 | 10 | Blue Tearstone Ring |
Overview[]
The Way of Blue is a good covenant for new players who might have some problems dealing with invaders early in the game. However, this covenant is not useful for PvE, since the phantoms of the Blue Sentinels can't hurt any enemies in the host's world. They will also not be summoned to help with scripted invasions, though scripted invasions will still count towards ranking up in the covenant.
