The Winged Knight Twinaxes are paired axes in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Paired beheading axes wielded by the Winged Knights, who swore themselves to the Angels.
- These axes, more befitting of an executioner than a knight, are indented to fit the human body.
- Skill: Chain Spin
Sweep foes in a large spinning motion and use strong attack to continue the motion until stamina is exhausted.
Availability[]
- Lothric Castle
- Dropped by the twinaxe-wielding Winged Knight found in a small tower between the Lothric Castle and the Dragon Barracks bonfires.
- Grand Archives
- Dropped by the twinaxe-wielding Gertrude's Knight found on top of the main dome.
Characteristics[]
The Winged Knight Twinaxes are paired weapons that caters towards quality builds without being infused. As a paired weapon, it benefits greatly from spell buffs such as Lightning Blade, Darkmoon Blade, etc. It possesses the standard axe move set: high damage, but lacks range. The drawbacks by its move set is circumvented when it is two-handed. An L1 combo can easily annihilate any opponent that had poor spacing on their side, and a weapon art to add a layer of oppression onto them.
