Woodland Child Gully is a dark spirit exclusive to Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin.
Description[]
Gully will invade shortly after the player passes the two Razorback Nightcrawlers in the Black Gulch. He is one of two dark spirits that invade in the same area, appearing prior to Woodland Child Victor.
He comes armed with the Giant Stone Axe and Reeve's Greatshield, and is immune to Poison. While in battle, he will often hold his axe with both hands in order to inflict the maximum amount of damage possible. He will also roll away from the player's attacks frequently.
Location[]
Appears right before the passage that leads to The Rotten's boss room.
Equipment[]
- Giant Stone Axe
- Reeve's Greatshield
- Lion Warrior Helm
- Prisoner's Tatters
- Prisoner's Gloves
- Prisoner's Waistcloth
Drops[]
- Human Effigy
- Orma's Greatshield (rare)
Notes[]
- Burning a Bonfire Ascetic on the Black Gulch Mouth bonfire will respawn him.
Trivia[]
- Even if he comes equipped with Reeve's Greatshield, he will only drop Orma's Greatshield. This is probably an oversight from the programmers.
- Alongside Victor, Woodland Child Gully is a reference to enemies encountered in Demon's Souls. More specifically, the two Great Club and Steel Shield black phantoms in 2-2, the Tunnel City of Stonefang Tunnel.
